On 21st September 2017, the Council approved the designation of a selective licensing scheme for all privately rented properties within parts of Bootle.

The designation comes into effect on 1 March 2018 and will last for a period of 5 years up until 28 February 2023.

Selective licensing requires landlords who privately rent out properties in the designated area to obtain a licence from the Council. Landlords will be required to meet a range of licence conditions, and show that they have appropriate management arrangements in place.”

Option 2 - Non-managed Landlords

£634 / £834 (inc. VAT) Application & Inspection, including
  • Includes a 'Landlord Licensing Compliance' check at £120 + VAT (£144)

  • Stage 4 - Paying the fee
  • Includes licence fee at either £490 (if you are individually CLASS-registered) or £690 per property

  • You will carry out the rest of the Application Process yourself
